The kit
What exactly am I building?
Ravana — a 4ft+ tall paper-and-card model, built from 250+ pre-cut pieces. It’s a display piece for your home, not a toy.
How long does it take to build?
Up to 2 hours, depending on how carefully you work. Most people spread it across an evening or two rather than doing it all in one sitting.
What age is this suitable for?
Ages 14 and up. The build involves a craft knife or scissors and some fiddly steps, so younger builders should have an adult around.
Do I need any tools I don’t already have?
Just scissors or a craft knife — those aren’t included, for safety and shipping reasons. Everything else, including the glue, is in the box.
Do the plain finishes need painting?
No. Every finish, including the plain ones, is ready to build and display exactly as it comes. Nothing extra to buy or do.
What’s the difference between the finishes?
Three versions of the same build, each with its own colour and material treatment. See the product page for the current options and pricing.
Ordering and payment
What payment methods do you accept?
UPI, debit and credit cards, and netbanking, all through Razorpay. Cash on delivery isn’t available yet, but we’re planning to add it.
Do I need an account to order?
No, you can check out as a guest. If you’d like to track your orders later, you can create an account during checkout or afterwards.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Yes, free of charge, any time before it’s dispatched. Write to support@thehiddendraft.in with your order number. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details.
Shipping and delivery
How long will delivery take?
Orders are dispatched within 2 working days, then delivered in a further 3 to 7 working days depending on your location. Remote pincodes may take a little longer.
Is shipping free?
Yes, on every order within India. We don’t currently ship internationally.
How will I know when it’s shipped?
You’ll get a tracking link by email as soon as your order leaves us, through our courier partner Shiprocket.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Photograph it before opening and email us within 48 hours of delivery. We’ll usually send replacement parts so you can carry on building, with a full refund available if the kit is unusable. Full details in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
